Hirtenberg, 12 May 2025. The ALCAR Group is pleased to announce a new strategic distribution partnership with CUB Elecparts Inc. ALCAR is now the official distributor for CUB's innovative tyre pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and related products in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy. CUB's decision was based on the well-known strengths of the ALCAR Group, in particular its strong service commitment, efficient distribution network and comprehensive country coverage.

This partnership marks an important milestone for both companies and brings numerous benefits for existing and future customers in these markets. ALCAR guarantees that all existing customers in these regions will continue to be served without restriction by the existing ALCAR sales subsidiaries. At the same time, the cooperation will ensure even better service and optimised product availability.

ALCAR is now offering the first cloneable and freely programmable TPMS Sensor for motorbikes in the European aftermarket. The ALCAR SENSOR Motorbike is an universal sensor and is available in three versions, as valve-mounted variant (two valve hole designs: 8.5mm and 11.5mm) or as bolt-in variant that can be screwed directly to the inside of the motorbike wheel (known from BMW wheels). All specialist workshops can therefore offer an additional service in time before the motorbike season.
 
The new ALCAR Sensor MB can be freely programmed for any motorbike model. The ALCAR Sensor Motorbike is manufactured by LID Technologies, the world's leading OE manufacturer of motorbike TPMS sensors. The current coverage is fully comprehensive on the models from BMW, KTM, Triumph, MV Agusta, Indian and Harley Davidson and is constantly being expanded. ALCAR is now offering an update for the existing ALCAR TECH600 & ALCAR VT56 TPMS tools for programming the sensors. This allows you to program the sensor, or even to create a clone of the existing OE sensor (recommended). The ALCAR SENSOR MB supports all OE functionalities.

From July 2022 onwards, things will get real for the commercial vehicle branch. With the new EU safety regulation ECE 2144/2019 (ECER141), all newly homologised utility vehicles of the N1 to N3, O3 and O4 as well as M2 and M3 classes must be equipped with a tyre pressure monitoring system. For all commercial vehicle workshops to be fully prepared ALCAR has made provisions, ready to launch the new and 100 percent universally applicable ALCAR Sensor HD (Heavy Duty) in spring 2022.

What has been mandatory for passenger cars for quite some time now, will soon become applicable for commercial vehicles as well: a tyre pressure monitoring system, because a wrong tyre inflation pressure can result in total tyre failure. Wrongly inflated tyres lead to higher abrasion, which will significantly reduce tyre mileage. The subsequent higher rolling resistance will increase fuel consumption and consequently CO2 emissions. Furthermore, insufficient tyre inflation pressure, apart from tyre damage, can result in significantly decreased driving stability, higher wear and tear and therefore longer brake paths, all of which are crucial factors involved for all operators of utility vehicle fleets.

The new one: ALCAR Sensor Heavy Duty (HD)

The new ALCAR Sensor HD is a universal sensor that can be programmed for any vehicle model. The universal commercial vehicle sensor is not only programmable for all fitments, but can be adjusted flexibly to all wheel dimensions ranging from 17.5 to 24.5 inches with only one product thanks to an innovative design. Mounting takes place directly on the wheel by using a wheel-band developed for extreme loads.

For the programming of the sensor, ALCAR is offering a commercial vehicle upgrade for the existing ALCAR TECH600 device. This will enable the programming or also the creation of an clone of the existing OE-sensor. The new ALCAR Sensor HD for commercial vehicles is available across Europe from now on.

Starting in April 2022, with the ALCAR SENSOR BLE, ALCAR will be offering an aftermarket TPMS sensor for the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. The ALCAR SENSOR BLE (Bluetooth Low-Energy technology) communicates via Bluetooth with the control electronics of the respective Tesla car. The new ALCAR BLE sensors will be available across Europe from April 2022.

Sven Müller, Sales Director TPMS at ALCAR Wheels GMBH, says: “The development of the new BLE sensor for Tesla vehicles took a lot of time. Despite the global challenges, we used the past year for very intensive developments and tests. Now we will release a top product. The very positive feedback from many experts confirms our development efforts and quality standards.”

The ALCAR SENSOR BLE works 100 percent identically to the Tesla OE sensor and requires no programming. Just like with the OE sensor, the system relearns the sensors within the first minutes of driving automatically. Hence, there is no need for a TPMS device for programming or relearning in order to activate the sensors.

The ALCAR SENSOR BLE for TESLA is available in the article number S6A108 with a silver valve and the article number S6A108B with a black valve. All TESLA BLE sensors can be customised with the standard service kits from the ALCAR SENSOR product range. Hence, the various colour requests from end customers can be tailored to the needs and rim colours.
