
ALCAR Group wins bronze medal for sustainability from EcoVadis
As part of the ALCAR Group, ALCAR XYXYXYXY is delighted to have been recognised for the entire group's commitment to sustainability. In its first group-wide EcoVadis assessment, the ALCAR Group has achieved the bronze medal. This puts the Group in the top 35 per cent of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide and even puts it in the top 17 per cent in the ‘Manufacture of parts and accessories for motor vehicles’ sector.
What is behind the rating?
EcoVadis assesses the sustainability of companies on the basis of 21 criteria, which are divided into four core topics: Environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Over 130,000 companies worldwide were analysed to assess their social and environmental performance. This bronze medal shows that the ALCAR Group is on a strong course towards sustainability.

CEO is proud
Christian Morawa, CEO of the ALCAR Group, is delighted with the result: ‘We have worked hard in recent years to realise our sustainability goals and this award confirms our progress. It shows that we are not only successful as a company, but that we also take our environmental and social responsibility seriously.’
Especially in its 40th year of existence, this recognition is a milestone for the company, Morawa continued.
